So, is Elecrow supplying your international distributor not an option? When I ordered a 6x CNC Controller and an Airedale I/O Expander (along with a Jackpot and some ESP32 modules) the 6x CNC Controller came with an external wifi antenna, bulkhead connectors, and antenna whip. The Airedale I/O Expander came with a 6” RJ12/RJ25 cable. Can they not supply the items you need supplied?

Yeah Elecrow will do it, but the full kits is another supplier. So that is three different companies. Things are just far easier with fewer items sourced, picked, kitted. Each one adds multiple costs.

I think that is what you meant. I used 120ohm and 1.2nF since they are already being used elsewhere in the board.

Well, I think it all fits. Not finished but that is every component placed. Still need to swap the input port to match the outputs. The standard modules fit with a little room before the 24v outputs, that 24v plug nearest the rj11 socket is the most worrisome but I think it clears.

Any chance those output connectors are available in a 2nd colour?

What are those output connectors?

At first I thought you meant horizontally with respect to the components on the board.

Or have you confirmed that the Pheonix connector height on the board is at least as tall as the RJ12 housing so that the Pheonix connector plug clears with its overhang?

Sometimes you can get black, I will when I can.

KF2EDGV-3.81-2P | Cixi Kefa Elec | Price | In Stock | LCSC Electronics, there are different angle plugs for them. The plugs are also available in the good clamp style and the wedge pinch style. vertical and 90 options as well.

I am not sure if they are inter-compatible. I can buy some and check but it looks like LCSC doesn’t sell them. It is only the one plug that is close and the regular generic plugs should fit. There is no more room unless I move the USB, SD card, esp32, and inputs. I really don’t want to do that.

they are shorter.

These will not fit.

While I understand only the barest outline of what is going on in this thread (and the previous one), I see things that I’d like to explore if I had some kind of road map.

When it’s done, and the board exists, can you guys give some consideration to a kind of simple English “options for dummies” outline in the documents?

Thanks in advance! :rubberduck:

Absolutely. It is not all the different from the JP1 so adding a few extra lines should cover it. And actually in some cases less options (esp and drivers) so hopefully easy useful options in the places it matters most.

You could always look at something like multilayer terminal block if the plugs are problematic

Something like

https://au.element14.com/multicomp-pro/mp012078/tb-wire-to-brd-r-a-16way-14awg/dp/4179119

depending on the pitch/wire sizes etc..

I like those! They are on one of Barts input modules.

I just got everything to fit, but the input components look Janky.

That looks too dense to me.
I’m not convinced about the output connectors either.

yeah, I am going to see if I can spread it out al all.

I have another bag of sample coming Tuesday to verify.

So many hours pushing and rotating things around. These are the black plug blocks, no idea why they are green here.

Could you mount that vertically on the back of the strut plate - would it fit between the 2 tubes?
