I used to have a Primo, then I built a LR3, which still had a few things lacking compared to the Primo. Now I have a LR4 and in my eyes nothing speaks for an MPCNC any more, with how great the LR4 is.
All of those boards were made with a LR3:
Oops!..I Did It Again. Another cutting board. This time with a cat.
Wood is pear, maple and black walnut. The pear is sourced from a German orchard, the maple comes from another town half an hour over and the black walnut is from America. I love a good melting pod board.
I really love the pear, that dark brown but still very dense with only a few pores, like beech, but with a greater colour. <3

My dad is one of those people that used to occupy houses and throw stones to change the world for the better and during his time, the dove on this board was the go-to symbol for peace and fighting for the common man. What was supposed to be a test for the new endmill in the beech wood of an old kitchen counter became his birthday present. I know it could have been sanded a bit more in places, but he does not cook too much anyway.

Now also oiled, waxed and polished. The birds are kind of tiny and could have been better, but I guess now after filling all the gaps only I can see that. I really like how it turned out, especially the patterns of the wood. If you turn it, it looks a bit like those high curch windows.

Ash (Hair), Black Walnut (Eyes, Mouth, Pearls), Purple Heart (Headband), Red Heart (Warpaint), Maple (Teeth, Stone in Headband and Fur Coat).
Board is cherry, another cherry, Wenge.
Yes, there are bad glue-ups in the board, my thickness planer and I have a bit of discussing to do regarding that topic. The inlays aren’t all top-notch either, I had to patch q…
If you look at my current projects (www.hawiwe.de ), you can see how great the LR4 performs.
