LowRider 3 CNC - control box case for BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo board, Raspberry Pi 4b, and BTT TFT35 E3 touchscreen (v1.3.5)
“This remix was requested by Stefan Raatz, who desired a case for holding an SKR 1.4 Turbo (instead of SKR 1.2 Pro), as well as a Raspberry Pi 4 model B. I’m not aware of him having printed this remix yet, so consider it untested for now. UPDATE Sept 25, 2022: Stefan has printed it, and found a collision between the lid and the standoffs on the base for the SKR. I’m working with him to get a solution posted.”
Just a quiet wonder about t his problem if it’s solved?
UPDATE Nov 14, 2022: I finally remembered to edit the base and lid to address the collision with the standoffs that Stefan found. Uploaded new “v1.3.5b” of both base and lid.
So, I just checked the dimensions you supplied, and compared to the board size in the remix you just replied about (LowRider 3 CNC - control box case for BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo board, Raspberry Pi 4b, and BTT TFT35 E3 touchscreen (v1.3.5b)), and it seems to match as the right size. So does that mean you are good with that one? I don’t still need to do another remix?
Yes the boardsize and the pinout for the Skr 1.x is the same. For now I can’t figure out anything that I have a need of, but things might change in the future.
I will certainly know when I’ve printed and tried it.
Thx for your help.
I still owe you an update, after months laying in a box, I managed to put this print together.
There are 2 things I noticed:
I think in the description you mentioned M3´s, could be a print error on my side but the M3´s are a bit loose, so would suggest M4 (or glue in case of M3).
the allignment for the USB port is a bit off, at the bottom there´s more then enough space, but at the upper part it is tight, the same goes for the sides. See attached image (please do not mind the warped print, I installed a new base and I still have to dial in the printer).
Ive printed the newest (29.04.2023) TFT Case for the TFT35 (non E3) on the BambuLab X1C with the “fixed” (remixed) reset button.
It works flawlessly.
There are just two more things, one is minor:
1.) Like @Olivier already mentioned, the alignment of the SD Card & USB Port is a bit off. You can see it in the post from @kockie-nl as well. You see the mainboard, please take a look at the attached pictures.
This would maybe be not worth your time & effort, because the slots are working.
But, one thing, that grabs my attention more and would be an easy fix:
2.) The display itself is a bit off since the beginning (Non E3 version). You can see this on the post of @kockie-nl on Jul’22 on this thread as well.
You can see a thick black border on the right side of the screen. My print exactly looks the same. If the display is turned on the misalignment is more prominent.
Ive attached a picture of it as well.
There is some confusion, as there is a conversation happening on Printables with @3DMaker_446902 (Printables username) regarding TFT holder version 1.31 (non-E3) but here you are posting regarding an E3 version 1.2, and your attached photos show a non-E3 TFT and holder. So, are you on non-E3 (knob to the side)? Or E3 (knob below)?
I went back and tried to refresh myself on this long thread (here in V1E forum), and realize now there was quite a bit of origin story here behind the non-E3 version. Sorry for confusion. I have created the new non-E3 TFT holder with the window edge moved inward on the knob side by 4mm. Posting any minute now.

I have created the new non-E3 TFT holder with the window edge moved inward on the knob side by 4mm. It is now posted.
I also posted a revised reset button to go with the new TFT holder. That’s also now live on the printables listing.
