I’ll be using a bambu x1c to print the parts. I have a revo hotend so I can easily swap to a .6 nozzle. If someone could provide slicer settings that would be awesome.

If I didn’t notice the discussion here I would have just used my .4 with the default settings (other than # of walls and infill %) and printed. Is there a significant strength increase using a .6 nozzle?

No, it’s just faster. :slightly_smiling_face:

I was under the impression that using a .6 would increase strength.

No, we had a lengthy discussion about it a few days ago, I think in a lounge thread. This used to be the assumption but it does not hold true any more.

Cool, speed not an issue for me yet. By the time I clean up the space I have slated for this, and get the table ready for it, the prints should be done.

If someone does have the recommended bambu slicer settings for Lr4 I will gladly take them.

Good Morning…

Does anyone have an stl file for the jackpot control board box for the LR4? the links on the info page go nowhere… Thanks and happy Friday!

Paging @vicious1 - are the mounts going on the LR4 page or do you plan to release these separately as part of a Printables LR4 collection?

@Art-Tistic - hopefully the tag will get these released on printables or at least Ryan will pop them into this thread.

Not yet, Today should be pretty productive. I got stuck yesterday ordering. You animals bought up what I thought would be a large supply. So I will be packing more orders, getting printed parts up for sale, doing some instructions, and releasing more parts.

The one thing I do not have done that will be on hold for a little bit is a screen holder for the SKR Pro. It will just sit on top of the hose and be a hose hanger replacement, I am sure.

That sounds like a good problem to have to take care of!! Congratulations on the increased sales!!

This video just got posted. Thought you’d find it interesting to see how strong plain old PLA is. I’m curious what people think of the infill type. Gyroid seemed to be the strongest.

Just off my MK4 - Looks Fantastic… Should have most of the parts completed early next week.

They are already there. You have to search for “LowRider CNC v4”, Ryan didn’t change the name there yet.

Sorry i did not get back to you yesterday like i said i would. I totalled my car on the way to work so did not makr it into the office. I was able to put all the parts into our system. If you wanted to contact inkbit any have a machine printed out on one of the machines i showed it would be around $4500- $5000. So pla is way cheaper lol.

You ok?

Compressive is the least useful spec for us. Me use the forces with the layer lines, so even interlayer adhesion is a distant second to what we care about. So a loop pull and creep test is more relevant.

What!? Is everyone okay?

Wow, that is insane I thought it would be like $1k. it must be super fun to have such crazy machine available.

sounds more like elements of our upcoming election than ways to determine the strength of PLA

Hmm yeah that makes total sense. In the end I was going to follow your recommendations anyway, since you have 4 versions, and years of experience to go by.

Mmmmmmmh… I think this filament roll is not going to make it… >_<

Need to order a new one real quick :stuck_out_tongue:
