Sandify Pen Drawing

I have some wall space and we bought the marble machine X poster. This is the one from wintergatan. But it looks lonely, so I’m making some pen drawing art to keep it company. Here is the first: [IMG_20191126_143025_01] Video of it cruising along (at 30mm/s). It was a total of 23 mins. I will post a finished photo when I get it all cleaned up. If you quote the entire post, it gets rid of the quote, but there is a little arrow with their avatar that will show you which post you replied to.

take long to get used to the new layout and I like it a lot better. It’s much smoother at tracking read/unread posts and directing straight to the new stuff. I haven’t tried .png files yet but I am expecting I won’t have to convert everything to .jpg anymore.

I drop into the meta discussion for Discourse from time to time. It is a wonderful place to some model problem solving discussions. I’ve learned a lot about why Discourse is configured the way it is and it makes me appreciate it.

Can we, should we, limit quoted text in a post?

I was trying to figure out why it sometimes puts the image there and sometimes not. I think it puts the image there when you’re not replying to the previous comment.

Here, I hit the reply arrow on Jamie’s post.

Bottom to top on those bars are, logged in users, anonymous users, and Crawlers…dam bots are insane bandwidth hogs.

Not sure if anyone would be bugged out if I shared these stats, but I think you don’t mind?

I have read twice as many posts as you but still have about half your read time…either I speed read, or skim every time. Explains why some of my replies are bonkers. The topics are odd to me, unless you dig into the archives at breakfast!
