I tried Lightburn lately and I was a bit whelmed. It’s not as glorious as I had previously thought. 
I thiught that too, but everyone who sticks with it loves it! The trace features, etc!!

No, they have several CNC’s, well as far as I know.

I use Inkscape for this. 
It is kinda odd to be so still on this scene since they were using it at mrrf. I wonder what the holdup is?
How did you get it to work on your Mac? 
I am a month into Lightburn ownership and haven’t fired it up.
I am a month into HueForge ownership and haven’t calibrated any of my filament.
I am a month into PTE AV Studio and haven’t even started my first slide show.
I am six weeks into COVID and at least I am starting to remember where I am, remembering what I was doing when the world stopped comes next.

Oh yes, I also like Lightburn’s camera feature - just have to make the box and mount it - I think/hope there are lots of benefits in having the graphic features and cam integrated, which is why I’m hoping for great things with MillMage.

An 8 hour video is a long watch, but jump to about 58 minutes if you want to skip the garage startup story to get the reason development has slowed… Most of the fundamental underpinnings were based on laser operations, so he says they had to change it and that took a while.
But then he goes into CNC. I found it interesting. Thanks for sharing the video link for the light burn experience.

Release this year but no beta yet??
I’m guessing they either cancelled the beta, or they chose very few people, and made them sign NDAs or something that forbid them from showing any details before release

it is possible the beta is underway, but they have those involved in non-disclosures, so they can’t talk about it. But that is only a guess because if I knew, I probably couldn’t talk about it, however since I don’t know, speculation is the next-most interesting thing.
