Looking good!! Thanks for posting pics and keeping us updated.
The pics dont show any “running boards” for the sides. My latest cut files included those. My earliest ones may have. I see you have the little chamfered bits that help support them. Do you have those boards in mind that the LowRider wheels will actually ride on?
Hi Doug, I did see those running boards in the file when I was researching but I was more keen on having them as 1 piece so I used structural flooring boards that come in 3600mm x 800mm here. So the running boards are 1 continual piece and I have been using them since from the start. The side boards have been cut and are just waiting in the wings. Once the torsion box is built i will need to reposition the tube and Y Belts.
Ah, that’s great.
Looks great!
Nice work.
Looks awesome! Congrats on getting the table done!
Congrats on the table and machine!
Thanks for the comments people! Git a bit distracted with painting today. Also got the LR3 all squared up. Looking to get the trim router mounted and the Level the Z and then will surface finish the MDF Spoil board ready for projects.
That looks nice!
Cheers! Got the dust extraction ready, just a little bit added to the dust shoe. Wont be 100% but will help a little with the initaial passes.
Will be picking up a new router today hopefully. Upgradinging from the Matika M3700B to the RT0700CX. Will be using the M3700B for another project.
Now I feel like I mistreat my tools, none are packed up like that…ever.
Most of my Dewalt tools came with a case, not that the tools are in the case much, but now they don’t even offer the case on most anymore.
This picture however, made me feel like I got ripped off, my Makita only came in a cardboard box. Ha
Same.
Thats just new in the box Ryan, it wont stay that way
My first did, there was also the option to get a kit with the pluge adapter but that was another $150AUD on top. $300AUD for the new one. The case wont get much use. None of the dewalt stuff is in its cases either

The case wont get much use.
My case is neatly filled with all the bits needed, including the original lead, to turn it back into a router in the unlikely event that it is replaced with say, a lightweight spindle at some time in the future.
Some things that are used infrequently - 1000 w hammer drill, framing nailer, air stapler, reciprocal saw, stay in their boxes - get cleaned and oiled and checked before packing them away so they are ready for use next time in a year or two.
