Lowrider V4 can I have the wheels run on a raised surface

I’m considering running a strip of hardboard down the one side of my table to give my wheels something flat to run on (I have a groove I made in my table where the V2 wheels ran in). Will it cause problems to raise the wheels like this by 1/8” assuming the pipe brackets are also raised this much?

So… bought new belts, had a good sleep, and back at it… The table is still a bit rough but I removed the trim and the old spoilboard and cut a part where it lifted under the Y rail I decided to use 2 mdf plinths as “tracks" for the Y axis.
