So… bought new belts, had a good sleep, and back at it…
The table is still a bit rough but I removed the trim and the old spoilboard and cut a part where it lifted under the Y rail
I decided to use 2 mdf plinths as “tracks" for the Y axis.
Printed a template using @franklyrosalind‘s
Torsion LR4 table generator and used it as a guide to drill the belt supports holes and install the plinth on the existing table
Very happy with this, it’s nice and simple, and fool-proof
I aligned the plinth’s edge and screwed through belt holders and plinth into the table
Same process on the other side with a few bradnails to keeps everything in place
I made a custom xmin/ymax belt holder that can take an M3 screw for Y-Max homing too
And then…
Now I need to square the machine and laser-cut my struts
