Kobalt router

I have never seen this one…Carbide ER-11 Compact Router - Carbide 3D

$70 for an ER-11 collet? Seems excessive? Maybe?

Still within the return window?? Lol

Really? It was linked here at least a year or two ago. :smiley:

Prolly, but it’s still cheaper than the Kobalt. But only $19 for the ER-11 compatibility… *grumble*

Avoidance of people may have me just keep the Carbide3D router… Hrmmm… 10% restock fee + shipping. Screw it, I probably won’t use it enough to make the spiffy collet worth the hassle. If I do get to that point, I’ll run down to Lowe’s and grab a Kobalt…

Allegedly 4 in stock at my store. This was as close as I got. They told me it would get pulled down on 11/6 for Q4 and put in the promotional aisle.

Guess you didn’t get your VPN figured out LOL

@Tokoloshe and @anyone-else,

What do you want to know about the Router? What’s most important to you?

Hopefully someone(s) closer to a Lowes (USA) can help share info you’re looking for to help make more informed purchase.

So far looks like not available in Canada. :frowning: well, not like I need another trim router. I have more than enough right now, even when my table lift gets here…

I just need to know how they got access to the CAD model we’ve all been trying to get…

And who put the “center” piece in there…

Woohoo! They were actually in stock. :partying_face:

@vicious1 , I assume you (or Doug or any other Beta tester) already have tool mounts for the MPCNC and LR?

I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess it’s a little bit different and doesn’t fit in the Makita mount…
