Did you want to change #6 to recommend or mention the Kobalt now?
Maybe for this question, you could specify that a 1/8" collet comes with the Kobalt.
Add a 1/8" collet for your router?

So i went in and got my 10 bucks for the sale. They had the dispaly up and it looks like they sold well her. Dispaly looked like only one in there.

Based on the photo, there’s a chance 3 are behind the front display.
It appears as though it’s 2 displays, one sitting in front of the other.

I ended up just exchanging mine yesterday.
After running it for a while, it did get a little better, but the speed still seemed to waver in the 2-3 range a bit.
One thing I did notice, is that on all of the boxes in my store, the manufacture Date Code on the box was “0623”. I assume that means these came off the assembly line in June… which seems a bit early to me

Yep. I didn’t run it for long, but out of the box I didn’t notice any changes in speed at any level running it for about 10-20 seconds at each click on the dial.
I have my parts printed and should be able to get it mounted on the LR this week
