Kobalt router

I’ll take some measurements when I get back and post what I have. See if something is off. Like Ryan said could be tolerance build up.

@vicious1 Do these count?

This is the way!!

Hey Chris from Sienci has a router questionnaire that might interest some of you. Looks like they have been working on what makes a good router as well. This could be super interesting. If you want to give some input on another router, Sienci Router Survey

Sienci Guys: “Weird, we got almost no feedback, then all of a sudden we got 100 entries from people with a V1 CNC machine in one day”

I did the survey. Check out some of my answers!

when I just took the survey, v1e.com was a response I could choose.

Maybe responses from me and others caused them to edit their survey!

Holy cow what a day. 1 Hour appointment ended up taking 8 Hours! (not all on the one place but stemming from)

Okay measurement wise I have

CAM ID ~65.75 mm
CAM OD ~68 mm
CAM Thick Part ~2mm
Tool Mount Front to back ~69MM
Tool Mount Left to Right ~68mm

This sound right?

Also just noticed squeeze gap is normal off the Kobalt. so something is pushing it out when going onto the kobalt… but the measurement was 65.75 :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Edit: Quality of my print, some noise from the “zero” mark on the outter wall, and some retraction zits. FILES ARE GOOD TO GO!
