Sorry Johnathan, watching “Star Trek : Strange New Worlds” at the moment.
When I saw what I’m assuming are new side plates, which look fantastic BTW, I mind jumped to Star Trek IV, and the transparent aluminum reference.
Had to make the joke, even though I also assumed nobody would get the reference from 1986.

I was 2 in 86 so no I didn’t get the joke LOL. Its all good though. Seems I made a (hopefully not) fatal error in the really nice acrylic side plates. Going to have to see if I can source a fix for it at the hardware store in the morning…
