How to arrange all parts to cut from single 8x4 sheet

Hi all,

I am using Fusion 360 for my modelling. I am now trying my hand at modelling some cabinets. I want to be able to automatically arrange all the parts to fit onto a single, or the least amount of, 8x4 plywood sheets.

I see that the paid version of Fusion has an auto arrange function. But I am not forking out that kind of money for it.

I came across the MapBoards Pro add-in for Fusion and it does not look too bad but I am looking for some recommendations please.

What software / apps / Fusion add-ins do you all use.

I recently bought a MapBoards Pro plugin for Fusion 360. It’s $25. I still need to mess with it some more but it’s been helpful. Slant Board

A week ago, my wife sent me a couple links asking if I could make one of these. Now that I have a LowRider, this was much easier and turned it around in a week, which is dramatically shorter than normal. I can second deepest, it’s brilliant. I just import the drawing with all the parts at once, no single exports. Then you add a sheet with its size and say how many you’ve got and it starts arranging.

I do most of my cnc cad with Vectric Aspire, it has an inbuilt nestting option that gives you options for: clearance to borders, the bit size you plan to use and may others (you can make multiple copies to fill a sheet or multiple sheets).
