Config File Error on Startup for Lowrider V4

I just finishing building my lowrider V4 CNC this past week and used the V1E hardware kit with the Jackpot controller. So far the machine has been cutting awesome, and I’m very happy with its performance.

I have been having some software issues with FluidNC however. Whenever I start my machine up, I get the attached config file error. Restarting FluidNC temporarily fixes the issue, until I power cycle the machine or finish running a program.

Not sure if this is a problem anyone else is having, but any suggested fixes are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I forgot to add. I’m using a shop vac for dust collection. I bought the recommended vacuum hose and have it grounded at one end.

That is 3.9.5, I am not actually seeing any error.

Might as well update to 3.9.9, use the webinstaller and do an update, try NOT wiping it first to see how it goes. (use webui v2 to keep things the same)

If you want to go all the way take note of any Y or Z offsets you have any do a full wipe and update to 3.9.9 and webui V3 (I will be updating the files in just a minute for Mike’s new webui v3).

That screenshot is incomplete.

If it continues to happen after the update, we’ll need to see the log using FluidTerm.

Thanks for the response!

Updating seemed to fix that error. I also had a problem where my machine would occasionally freeze when doing tool changes and updating seemed to fix that too!

I also just want to say, I really appreciate all the hard work you have put into this project. I have had such an awesome time building this machine and learning how to use it!

We have a heck of a crew here. I am just the CAD monkey.

If you updated to 3.9.9, and web UI v3 Mike just made a handful of superb improvements that should help with long term stability as well as better functionality. Next up I need to add some of Jason’s modifications to really add all the bells and whistles.
