CNC based connectors for fast assembly - Example Drawer Boxes

Has anyone used any furniture assembly fittings using there MPCNC/Lowriders?

Something like the Lamello Cabineos, Hafele Rafix and the Peanut by Intelligent Fixings.

They are designed for flat packed furniture and quick assembly. They are great for fitted furniture. I will add images tomorrow

I’ll show an example of chest of drawers made that will be part of a larger design.

@Fabien Thanks for the link to the thread, that’s awesome, the timing of it fell Into the period I stopped researching and started making. Your shelving unit came out awesome, I’ve personally only ever used Cabineo fixings but will try the Rafix style fixings soon, seems much more economical.

Very nice!
Those doors look just great!
Painted MDF?

Regarding the fixings, I think of you already own the cabineo system, it’s probably the best

Yeah sprayed them, CNC really makes things a lot easier, the bronze tinted glass doors were surprisingly simple to do.

Yeah I’ve used it for shelving and huge surprise in how much weight they can carry.

Haha, I know this feeling
That’s why I didn’t build the cabinets ans bought them, but insisted on making the handles in exchange :stuck_out_tongue:

Also if you’re looking for drawer boxes and are up for a challenge, why not try some cnc’d finger joints or dovetails?
