Im going to keep my ptfe tube outside the cable chain (holded with some zipties, i dont like the way it exits the cable chain, it makes a real ugly bend (but non of my fails are there, they are all before the runout sensor (the way it exits of the enclosure to meet with the sensor, and all my other issues are actually the way it exits my filament box (my pet-cf is delicate)
Im using pet-cf for all the prints of my lr4s (with S)
It needs 280+ . The max temp limit for our printer is 280 (ask me how i know)
In LAN mode, my Orcaslicer has been performing just as well as Cura with Octoprint, including printing over wifi. i dont even have a usb drive in my office- its still stuck in the LR3.
I did read that the servers got slammed with all the new owners trying to register at christmas, and it was leaving the web server unresponsive and prone to drop out.
Also- hinges are working great for me.
I hate how variable all this is for different people, but dont give up just yet!
i think jim issues were because the petg he was using make/color i used the same brand as him but black and printed on the first try with default settings
for that you only need to enter the ip adress for klipper http://your_printer_ip_address:4001/ thats Fluidd webui
you can use port 4000 for the other ui
you should be connected to the same router/network
Perfect- kinda like the esp1 chip for the lowrider 3 ?
I’ll probably run the printer in my dust collection cabinet to keep it away from the dust, and keep the noise down. Being able to stream the video in the shop computer screen would be super helpful
Yes. The FF AD5M comes stock with Klipper firmware on its mainboard, but proprietary (non Klipper) UI on its touchscreen. The Klipper mod leaves all factory stuff intact, on both the mainboard and the touchscreen, but adds Klipper based UI options, 3 options on the touchscreen (no UI, Klipperscreen UI, or Guppyscreen UI) and 2 browser based options, Mainsail and Fluidd.
Orcaslicer has in the Wifi section for each printer, places to input the URL to the printer (which the URL has the IP of the printer) along with a port number. For one of the entries, the port number is to the Klipper “API” (which I think is called Moonraker) and it is where you send print jobs via WIFI, and for the other entry, the port number is for a web based UI, and this lets you specify whether you want Mainsail versus Fluidd.
The AD5M-pro comes with a camera. For the AD5M non-pro, you can buy the camera separately, and you can have the camera installed and it works. The camera’s feed can be set to show in either Mainsail or Fluidd.
The following is copied and pasted from one of my replies elsewhere:
In OrcaSlicer, the wifi settings need inputted a URL that is the IP address of the printer plus the correct port number. See screen shot.
While you were replying, I was editing my post to add this:

Notice in the screen shot from Orcaslicer, there is a tab near the top labelled “Device.” That tab is essentially a browser frame to display the HTML UI served by the printer!
yep, wouldnt want to be running jobs while away from home anyway. too many people had theor ender3’s burst into flames in the old days for me to take that risk
thats the same tab that Orca-Flash uses to monitor the printer, via LAN.
I think to switch to Fluidd, the port number is 4001. I can scarcely tell a difference between Mainsail and Fluidd. I started with Mainsail and looked at the other one, but just stayed with my first choice.
btw this is the error i get no matter what, upload/upload and print, maybe with a fresh install could fix this but i dont want to loose all my settings that are dialedin
already reinstalled the mod more than 5 times (not funny to mess with the wifi workaround more than 2 times in a day), the address is correct
tried: http://192.168.2.179:4000 , http://192.168.2.179:400 , http://192.168.2.179:7125
not an issue with the ports they are open for my rpi4 ip and this printer ip,
as i said maybe a fresh install of orca could solve my issue ( but i wont until finish the prints of my lr4s, had to stop a couple of days ago because of work and i intent to finish them this week)
i can open my other printers connected tru the pi4 and the zero2w, the ad5m is the onlyone not working.
my original firmware currently on the printer is the 2.7.9 i dont know if that is whats messing things. i can use USB or just upload the files from inside the webui i dont bother, i loose some comodity
