Our answer to this kind of question is always “when it’s ready.” Writing software is problem solving. I’ll assume it’s V-carving you’re specifically asking about, and the math behind V-carving is surprisingly difficult. I can’t give a hard date for when it’ll all be ready, but we’re actively working on it and hoping it’s soon.

my mm test period expired, before the latest RC just before the release, so I never got to try fluting. Has anyone tried it? In the one post I read on it, it sounded like it could do variable width/depth letters with a v cutter for features that were still 2.5D like lettering or shapes. If that works then I want to try it. I don’t need 3d stl cutting, just the chamfer/pocketing combo. Any info or examples would be interesting.
I think you can try to ask for an extended test period if you want to try it out.

Please send in your trial key and they will extend the trial while it is in pre release.
But it’s not in pre-release anymore. They may still extend it though if you were using a pre-release version so it’s not letting you try the released version.

You should be able to download the release version and get a new 30 day free trial
Edit: I was wrong
The trial and release use the same machine ID system - it won’t work that way, but we have been renewing trials for people who were using the pre-release.

if understanding correctly you have mm and Fluidnc wbi both open ? if so it dosent like that some times , only use MM double check the 192.168.0.1
i had it to satrt with it wasnt saving correctly in device set up box
did you set up a manual device or use the LR3 in set up. There seems to be a few comments on mm forum of issues with the lr3 set, up ive had a few myself since installing the lr3 setting
im going to reload all settings i ran while using estlcam which has worked fine since rc2
was actually thinking of doing 1 as i see more and more LR4 user pop up on the MM forum with setting questions and connection, I have only ever run it via wifi , since RC2 , and only once had a job pause for maybe 10 sec
it prob wont be the perfect vid but hopefully will help , and there def will be some things some may go what the hell is he doing that doesn’t work, but it works for me

So I get on my laptop, open MM, while MM is open I then go to WiFi>disconnect web >connect to FluidNC?
Sounds like that’s my issue. Will try.
My desktop workstation does not automatically open the WebUI and I have had some luck.
My notebooks and Mac auto launches WebUI.
So anxious to give it a go 
Well!! once more it’s my user error. @Terry_O_Sullivan it work great! I just open MM. Did what I wanted on my notebook, then switch SSID to FluidNC. PERFECT!!
I always switched to FluidNC then opened MM. Oooops!!

so i did some videos today , for some dumb reason the quality doesn’t look the best even though the camera was set to highest resolution
ill start a new topic for them @vicious1 ill let you decide where to nest them and rename if need be:)
