I’m building the LowRider V3. Today I received part of the Hardware (BigTree SKR Pro V1.2 and TFT35-E3). I installed the software on the Pro and updated the display. Now I get the display for a 3D printer but not for the LowRider. Anyone have an idea what I did wrong?
Display BIGTREE_TFT35_V3.0_E3.27.x.bin. For the SKR Pro V1CNC_SkrPro_DualLR_2209-2.1.1.
You didn’t do anything wrong. That is exactly how it should look. Just ignore the 3d printer stuff. They tried to make a CNC display but it became way too much hassle keeping up with the updates. It basically had to be remade each time. You will just use the movement screen, terminal when needed and use print to start a gcode job. It works really well
That’s the correct display. You just have to ignore the 3d printer related commands. I’m not sure if anyone has configured a display particular to CNC.
Under the < custom > menu you can add gcode ‘macros’
Like G92 X0 Y0 Z0 for example…
You shouldn’t need to change anything if you are running V1 Firmware
