wrong cuts that do not appear in the simulation

Hi everyone!
I have recently started to use my mpcnc and I often get errors like the one in the picture. Can you help me please?
gcode generated with estlcam version 11.040 and control board Mini-RAMBo with firmware MPCNC813MRAmbo_GLCD_T8.
thank you so much!

Does my crown gcode work perfectly, did you your crown work perfect? If so zip and upload your gcode and we can have a look.

The toolbar you have is missing some very important settings.

I wrote out a whole post about this being a possible controller setting, but actually I think the setting may be something like “clearance plane” in estlcam settings. It looks to me like the machine is not lifting on travle moves. Maybe?

even at 0.0mm travel plane it shouldnt be doing that. do you have like a weird lead in setting or something enabled?

Thank you so much for your answers!
As soon as I finished assembling the mpcnc, I did the pen and router test and it was fine. (I attach the first photo)
Now instead it keeps giving me the problem of movements on the x and y axis (rarely on the z axis) random. I enclose the photo of the test just done (I do not have a pen holder).

Thanks again!

No I do not think so, no shift towards that direction is foreseen. They are completely random movements.

Do you have your LCD cable bundled with other wires, they can pickup noise. Another person had the same issue last week.

That looks exactly like the problem I was having last week. I followed Ryan’s advice and corrected the problem. My stepper wiring wasn’t bundled with the lcd cable but apparently it was close enough induce enough noise to cause a problem.

A side note I only had the problem when running the gcode from the sd card. The problem wasn’t present when I ran the code with Repetier-Host from the laptop.

it was the monitor cables that caught interference!
Now everything works perfectly!

thank you so much!

Sweeeeeet!

Good evening to everyone!

No way,
in the following days I had constant problems similar or equal to the previous ones.
I have therefore first changed all the cables that go to the motors with shielded cables, connected all the ground and protected the cables of the monitor as in the photos, but nothing to do, a couple of correct cuts and then again random lines.

I thought to eliminate the suction by removing a probable generator of static electricity, I created the protections to keep the pipes clean

but still the problem continues as seen in this photo.

Where am I doing wrong?
How can I solve the problem?

Thank you

Luca

Chances are very high that your gcode is actually incorrect. Is there a Fxxxx command on every single line?

Hi Ryan!

I checked and it seems to me that there is the fxxx code in every line. I attach the gcode.

The problem occurs in different ways always in the second cutting operation, the external one that can be seen in the attached screeshot.

With those speeds and a wood router bit on a larger router you might consider using the recommended 1/8" endmill.
