MPCNC Primo I am putting together l printed the box and used shielded 18/6.
MY concern is the connections do not seem to be secure and I was wondering if the JST would be better.
Or is there any brakeout board or hot glue.
Just putting it together connections were sketchy
What control board are you using? If it’s the SKR did you remove the plastic shrouds like it says in the docs?
I did not .I did just pull one off Took a lot of force and already ordered the tool and connectors. I think would be easier than taking them all off. I have to do the stops also right?

Yes but it’s really not that bad once you figure out a good way of doing it. I use a small pair of needle nose and work it side to side. All in all it takes less than 5 min to take all of them off. Much much faster than recrimping all the wires
A little judicious heat might help if you have a hairdryer/heatgun.
I agree with making the locking connectors. That’s what I did on mine.
Taking off the plastic shroud lets it go down further, but it’s still not as good as the proper connector.
The one I clip I was a pain and now I have to put it back on, might just leave that one.
Haven’t tryed the heat thing yet loaned out my heat gun haven’t seen the guy sense
