What would you want to see in a new lowrider build?

Looks like it just drew the first layer of a print.

One was on the LR3 one was on the primo. No issues with circular motion.

Awful quiet in here today…

One other build has made some cuts. It did make them better with the same Gcode…There might have been an issue with the old LR2 that made some errors. Getting closer.

I’ve been following your builds for awhile now, specifically the low rider and think I’m finally going to start building the LR3 once it’s released. Is PLA still an acceptable filament type to print with? It’s all I’ve printed with so far. I have an ender 3 pro which I believe can handle other types.

Yes. It is preferred. It is the most rigid (brittle too, but rigid) of the common materials.

Will the ender series have the table size to print the parts needed? I hope so its what i have also

Alternative path just in case…
Print parts for primo
Build primo as printer
Print parts for lr3
Rebuild primo as router
Cut parts for lr3
Rebuild primo as lr3

All the parts easily fit on a 200x200x200. There is one part that can be printed but I believe I will sell it as a cut part, that needs at least a bed size of 250x200.

Option 2:

Mount material into 9"x48" knee mill. Use DRO to place all drilled holes.

How much of the LR2 can be repurposed? Obviously I wouldn’t expect flat or printed parts, but steppers and controller? Sorry if this has been asked before but at 490 messages…

Yea, the electronics and some of the hardware.

I would like to see a dual xz or a more rigid xz design and the zy roller to come from series with the design using the side roller also to make it move straight all the time. I did the mod on my build and its awesome.
Maybe a vertical or side folding table design to be space friendly for us (the full sheet guys)
Cant wait the LwR 3 to build one. Im thinking about building another one to use it with a diode laser only for engraving.

This is going to be off topic but I know the hardcore are following this thread.

Something is going on with the site/forums. Cloudflare is reporting 90% usage for the day, already. That is extremely high. Problems start to happen when that says 75%. So maybe a dns attack??

Just logged on and can’t see any difference from my end. Holding on to my seat just in case.

Yeah i just logged on and it said ā€œchecking your browserā€. Never saw that before. Do you have any stats?

Yep, I got one of those too. Lasted 40 seconds or so.

I enabled a slight ā€œunder attackā€ loading delay. I just turned it off.

I know Jamie’s octoprint trace plugin is being noticed by some 3D printer people. Is it possible it is legit traffic? Is there a way to see if a particular post is busy?

I took out most of the tracking, so I don’t really see anything. Good idea though, maybe I can see more from cloudflare.
