I have exit nodes turned off and I have a subnet turned on. Everything on my LAN is in the subnet. So when I’m out and about, I can turn it on, and then navigate to the lan ipv4 of my router, or the NAS, or HA just fine. But if I leave the VPN on, it can mess with android auto and sometimes I just can’t reach anything on the Internet until I turn it off or toggle it. I would really like my adguard DNS to work everywhere too. I am not sure why. I am guessing the route table doesn’t properly get fixed when I switch from wifi to cellular or it just gets out of date when I get a different cellular IP or something. I only have termux to debug it and that is harder than just turning it off.
So you can see where a cloudflare reverse proxy is enticing to me.
