Has anybody tried to make a really tiny ZenXY? I’m talking about something that would sit on my desktop and replace the little Zen garden that I have there for people to play with when they’re stressed out. Just a fun thought.

Oh, I totally forgot I started down a path like this but didn’t get very far.
Sometimes you see an interesting part that gives you a weird idea and then that part goes on sale so you just have to go for it.

This idea was spawned by a through shaft NEMA 11 stepper motor.
I have lots of ideas on how I’m going to accomplish my goal but I’ll probably be playing in CAD for awhile.
What am I doing?

Maybe 18”x18”… I have some leftover Linear rail I could use. Hmmmmm

Oh yeah that is a pretty common size, I would say. It works and looks fantastic at that size.
