Well,

@Jonathjon called me out on another post⌠I have been remiss in updating this build!
I have successfully printed a number of 2 color prints. The cutter works like a champ. The whoile setup is a little tall.
I am currently having some issues with the TradRack gate switch and the Happy Hare software.
The gate switch seems to stop working randomly which does not allow the system to load filament like it should. I am going to spend some time in the next couple days taking the TradRack apart and making sure noth9ing is bent and everything is tight,
I am having an issue with a pause operation happening every time it changes the filament. It happens when I swap lanes and when it unloads at the end of a print. I have reached out to the Discord and gotten no ideas of why. I am looking at baselining the machine and setting its config up from scratch to see if I can make it go away. Again. takes time that is pretty short these days. Lots going on at the brewery and opening a second location in the next few monthsâŚ
My bad. It wasnât meant as a call out lol. But thanks for the update!!
Update,
No pictures.
I have been fighting the gate switch on the TradRack. Randomly stops working. I thought maybe I had put the wrong size ball in it and after tearing it apart and some Discourse conversations, I discovered that the ball was in fact the right one but as I was not using the actual OMRON branded switch the lever was just a tad too long and it was getting hung up and was slightly bent. I trimmed the lever down and it seems to be working great now.
When I put it all together, I started having serios problems with the stepper that loads the filament. Was stuttering and then running and then stuttering as it slowed. 3 DAYS of troubleshooting later and I figured out that I had a pin issue in the MicroFit connectors for the Stepper. Runs great now.
I wanted to put ASA on one of the gates and it was not passing the correct temps. I have now learned that when you put lines into the start Gcode that pass variables, they have to be on the same line. If you put a CR so they look nice, it treats them like a new command. I have a feeling that that is the issue with the pauses I was experiencing also as all the variables for MMU_START were not being passed. We shall see.
I am working on printing a new toolhead!
The DragonBurner works great. I was looking at the Yavoth to replace it and in the process stumbled across the AntHead. It bolts right up the same way and is SEXY. Plus the new one integrates a cutter into it so it does not increase the height like the DragonBurner and Yavoth do with the sandwiched cutter. We shall see. Printing the Ducts on the V5 now (hopefully, I am at work). More later
Okay,
I need a CAD favor from someone better than I am.
I want to modify the parts for the AntHead Toolhead. There is a blank main body that I want to put the V1E symbol on and make the translucent part that goes behind it. I am stuck on a Win10 system and Fusion will not update and I canât bring the .step model into it to edit.
The files are on Github at:
GitHub - PrintersForAnts/AntHead: Toolhead for Micron and other PFA printers
Specifically these:
AntHead/STLs/Main_Bodies/Sherpa/No_Logo at main ¡ PrintersForAnts/AntHead ¡ GitHub
AntHead/STLs/Main_Bodies/O2/No_Logo at main ¡ PrintersForAnts/AntHead ¡ GitHub
The other nice thing would be to have the front grill made of V! logo shapes vs Hex.

Maybe someone can help???
The repository has a full Step file in it. I just cant seem to use it.
Have you tried to use onshape? It can import step files.
I did. I set up an account and imported it. Can not for the life of me figure out how to use it! I am somewhat invested in Fusion from a learning standpoint sadly.
My current DragonBurner has a Voron logo and i want to put a V1 logo on my machine to pay homage to @vicious1 !
Found a workaround!
Selected the files I needed in OnShape and then exported them as .Step files and opened them in Fusion.
I am printing some of the files while I am at work but if I did my alignment right I will have a V1E logo that lights up on the shroud!!! Pictures layer!
As promised. I made a little insert for the middle but think it may end ip being way to fiddly to put in. This is just a mockup while drying the translucent filament. Honestly the white might work though.
Nice!!!
Little more work on the Anthead Hotend. The Doomcube Discord has an Anthead section and those people are fantastic with helping get this sorted.
Mine has a WWG2 with the Galileo Gearset but they have a new mod to use the WWBMG now. Waiting on a EBB36 board so I can get all the wires setup and routed.
It looks like I might be able to use part of the frame for the cutter. I am not sure yet and the only thing that will stop it is the length of the belt holder part. I am thinking I might be able to shorten it and get more travel out of the whole machine using these hotend mounts. More to (slowly) come.
Printed the grill on the front with the existing Dragon Burner and Tradrack!
