Steppers won't turn. mini-rambo

New build, ordered kit from site about a month ago and finally got where I could start putting it together.

Using repetier to try and get the motors to turn. Signals go to the board, return OK but nothing moves. I’ve tried all 5 motors, multiple different wiring patterns (straight to board, using wire kit, etc.). I’ve tried other programs to try and get the motors to move, same result.

I re-flashed the board using the code linked on the site, trying to rule out the possibility that was an issue.

I measured the input voltage to the board to rule out the power supply.

Moved to a different PC and USB cable to rule out the connected laptop/cable.

At this point I’m grasping at straws and welcome any ideas. I’ve only got 1 stepper hooked up now figuring that if I get 1, the others should work as well.

Thanks!

The red light on the board means the firmware is wrong/bad.

1.0.2-2 flashes without the red light, but none of the newer versions will.

Still no movement on the motor however.

Use my firmware. The link you used it ancient in firmware terms, 2+ years old. Mine is customized to work with our equipment. The board also came flashed, you didn’t need to do anything.

I tried both 1.1.5 and 1.1.9 from the links, each one produced the red light. The older version is the only one that seems to not produce that issue.

I understand it came pre-flashed, it was not working when I hooked it up so I attempted to re-flash to resolve the issue.

I don’t have any pre-configured that old either, just Marlin 2.0. Please look over the instructions for flashing it carefully, if you can’t get it please share at which step you have an issue.
