Steppers not moving - any ideas?

Hi,

I have bought the electronics kit from here and have set it up as per the instructions. I have installed Repetier host and am trying to get my laptop (Windows 7 - baud rate set to 25000) to control the steppers.

With R-H it seems to be waiting sometimes to send the instructions. Both the arduino and Ramps appear to be powered on with LEDS, when I send the test file to print or use the controls on R-H nothing happens with the motors. I haven’t had this issue with my 3d printer, are there any settings that I need to check?

25000 or 250,000?

It was set at 250,000. I found my solution - installing the serial drivers. I had thought that the kit came with an official arduino rather than a chinese clone - I hadnt noticed. Thanks for your help though.
