156$ for 1m of pipe!?

For reference I paid, with VAT ~65EUR ~75USD in Portugal, for:
4m of 25x1,5mm SS pipe and
3m of 25mm SS rod.

All AISI 304L

This project shows how this world would be easier with standard measures. Sure the author has a lot of extra work, even with parametric modeling software, that could be used for innovation!

Hi, 156($AR) is like 11$US, after 2 weeks looking for 25mm pipe, I couldt find it, Only 25,4mm one. I find this http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-616836975-cano-tubo-vantec-fusion-ips-t-sigas-25-mm-_JM

It is steel coated with Medium-density polyethylene (MDPE). Do you think I can use it instead? I would like to know how long will you take to release the 25mm version.

25mm version is out already on thingiverse.

I don’t think the MDPE coating will hold up. You need steel.
