Probably the most important parts on the unique and/or tougher to source ones.

  • XZ Plates
  • Linear Rails
  • Lead Screws in proper length
  • Any parts that are significantly different from the LR3
  • Oh - and Jackpots - probably need lots of Jackpots on hand. And 2209s, and it might be cool to carry some of those little MOSFET daughter boards…

I’m printing this now on an X1C with no changes, using the same filament I’ll use to print the V4. Will be interesting to see how it turns out!

Is there any documentation for calibrating a bambulab printer with this? Can you access the e steps etc?

Bambu prints can only currently be XY skew calibrated, XZ an YZ are not enabled yet. They are decently square on arrival but no they are not as close as they can be. Hopefully bambu adds Z skew soon.

He laser engraved his with a fancy ass lace pattern he made. It is cool! way cooler than mine was lol…

I was looking at calibration options for my Bambu P1S today. Kind of stumbled on the same info. Do you for see this being a problem for the LR4? I’ll gladly print a calibration but if I can’t change anything…

Only way you will know if its a problem or not. It will let us know how far off it is, so that’s not a bad thing

Not familiar with these parts yet, are there certain things I can start sourcing now without any info on LR4 that’ll be ubiquitous to any CnC or LR in general? Otherwise I’ll just keep making sure my 3D printers work :slight_smile:
