How would I go about squaring this machine up based off the picture? I was going to follow the instructions on the website and noticed it didn’t look the same so I wasn’t sure.
Which MPCNC version is this? If it is Burly, you can find the build instructions here.
What specific squaring are you trying to do? If you are trying to square the Z axis, then you want to search the forum for “Surfacing” and “Tramming.” Typically, you want to first first surface the spoil board so that the plane of the CNC and the spoil board are parallel. Then you want to use a basic tramming arm to make sure the Z axis set up perpendicular to the spoil board. Tramming adjustments are made using shims in the router mount.
If you are trying to square the XY of your machine, I’d start with measuring the diagonals followed by having it draw a very large rectangle and measuring the diagonals of the square.
Does your machine have electrical or mechanical endstops?
