SKR PRO V1.2 NOT DETECTED

Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with my BIGTREETECH SKR PRO V1.1 board not being detected by my PC.

I followed all the steps in the documentation and made the connections as instructed. The firmware was successfully uploaded, as I was able to change the file from .bin to .cur, and all the LEDs on the board are lit up as expected, with no apparent errors.

However, when I connect the board to my PC, it’s simply not detected. I’ve tried several different USB cables, but the issue persists. I also downloaded and attempted the firmware from the official GitHub repository (https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-SKR-PRO-V1.1), but it didn’t resolve the problem.

Has anyone encountered this before or does anyone have suggestions on how to fix it? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Most people (at least me) don’t connect their PC to the SKR Pro v1.2. Instead, they (I) use the LCD for move commands, and put gcode files from the PC onto an SD card, walk to the CNC, and insert the SD card into the LCD SD slot (sneakernet).

You MAY be able to connect via USB, you would need to set your COM port/software program settings to BAUD 250000. I’ve never done this, so I can’t say if it is possible or not.

I’ve already found the solution.

We have to change the jumpers on the board from host to usb.

Thanks!
