Hi! In the Molex and JST Connectors section, the instructions say to pull off the plastic shields from the JST directional style connections. I’m not sure what the JST connectors are, and a Google search doesn’t show anything similar to what I’ve received in the package from V1E. Any chance someone could point them out in an image from the SKR Pro setup page?
The motor wire connections have a plastic receptacle to make it so they only plug in one way. If you wire with jst plugs, they snap into place (typically short white connectors, but the receptacle is black or white). If you use dupont connectors (longer black connectors) then they dont always seat completely, but you can use pliers to pull the white or black receptacle plastic off to reveal longer pins that will seat completely.
Thanks for your response! I think the NEMA stepper motors I purchased from V1 Engineering have the black Dupont connectors along with black, green, blue, and red wires. They do seem to attach without issue to the pins on the board, although the adapter seems a little long. Are the instructions suggesting that I pull the whole plastic Dupont connector off?
