Should the bearing on Tension Bolt A wobble?

I noticed that the bearing on Tension Bolt A seems to flop around during travels. I followed directions to tighten the nut until just the nylock is engaged. I also measured and squared as best I could. There are tracks on the conduit, so it engages at times, but not always?

Thanks in advance!

Charles.

I don’t think that is right! You can tight those bolts a lot more to the point were the bering are rolling freely with out any gaps.

Tighten them down until the nut touches the plastic on the mpcnc. Also, is that the right size bolt? It shouldn’t be able to twist like that.

Thanks all, will try snugging to plastic. I used what is called out in spec, though I sourced locally. To be clear, the bolt doesn’t move, the bearing has some wiggle room on the bolt because it is not pressed firmly against the conduit.

Hex bolts, Zinc plated steel, 5/16"-18 x 1-1/2"

Perhaps that’s what I need to do instead of snugging the nut to the XY part, but snug until the bearing doesn’t wobble so that I don’t change the squareness?

That’s what I’d do.
