All good and you are correct. I dont have an issue with the support itself I blame not starting a new thread, but its possible the dual endstops are causing a problem even though they are both set to z max not min. Its possible the probing can only be done in the direction of the Z endstop and if thats that case I just need to find it in the code. I did look over all 51087 lines of code last night and there are very few differences between the code on the 3D printer and the CNC. It was less than 500 lines or so I think? So that tells me its likely setup correctly on my end for the firmware and a deeper problem. I have some people looking into it now.
Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but the OP stated that he set the bed size to 4x8, then noticed that it probed the same spot âhundreds of times â.
This sounds to me like he set it for a bed size of 4mm c 8mm. Marlin works in mm, not feet, so all firmware flashing issues aside, maybe try using different bed sizes?
