Room and rental acquired!
yes!
I don’t think I have the collage talent. This is not done but taking a peak I am not sure this is going the right direction. I have been working from right to left lower left corner has not really been touched.
Any suggestions?
I think it’s a bit too busy - try changing it to black and white, or really desaturating a lot!
Perhaps crop the images so there is less background - the backgrounds are providing the distraction I think.
Well done on keeping the self portrait too!
Okay, I am throwing in the towel on the collage. It just looks worse. I have spent far too much time on it and have other things I need to do other than sit here and cuss out my computer screen for another week straight.
Any other backdrop ideas?
I still think some kind of giant Jackpot rendering would be cool.
Let me see if I can get a decent model out of easyeda.
If I can I can just drop it on the backdrop from the first one and they will sort of match. I like that and it seems doable for me.
Bit crazy, but… IF I end up driving, I could buy (at my cost) a 55" or 65" tv from best buy on the way, you can use to show Community projects. Then, either a community member can borrow for ~363 days a year between RMRRF shows, or, you can raffle the TV off (winner’s responsible for figuring out shipping, we just leave it with them). I write this off as a MakerGalaxy expense (a yet to be defined thing with $0 income, lol).
1min Demo…
No way! That is an amazing offer but, no thank you.
That looks so good, what happen last year, was it the wifi that got us on that, or it kept turning off…We had that on my tablet but I can’t remember why it didn’t work right.
yes, inactivity battery saver turning off, and a bug or two… ![]()
quick edit, the angle is off, background spot is off. Not sure if I can do anything about the colors since that is an exported png, not a render. Maybe some AI magic and I can at least change the green sockets to a darker color.
Can do.
Can do.
Is that what you are thinking?
I would move the board a little higher on the screen - don’t lose the bottom behind tables and people - don’t worry about the overlap of the logo.
Agreed. We will be standing in front of it.
Does it make sense to render the pcb in a different color? The white would look cool.
Red PCB, black connectors? Or the opposite?
Here’s my tuppence worth - This is intended as a background, it’s not a billboard someone is trying to read as they drive past at 100mph. It needs to sit quietly in the background and speak when it’s spoken to.
Therefore I think it makes sense to tone down the colours a bit. What message is it selling?
IMHO - that V1E are responsible for a great control board.
JACKPOT - V1 ENGINEERING
At these shows no one is going to care if the colours are not identical to the real thing, nor if they can’t examine every part of the circuit. (They can buy a board and do that). They don’t need to see the whole thing (They can pick one up on the table if they want to do that)
Make it a bit of wallpaper that can be a discussion piece, but stirs the imagination a bit, and still sits on brand.
Sorry about the loss of resolution on the logos - this is a very quick mashup - in the real world those white bits would become blue and the logo would magically be readable again! there is a good argument for leaving the big V1 logo out entirely - the one on the board is clear enough.
red looks like Christmas, black is too dark and the traces get lost
White or blue
Not to pour cold water, but if the main background people see from a distance while walking by is a circuit board, they may assume that you are a circuit board maker, rather than a CNC/3D Printer/Sand Art Machine maker.
