Rocky Mountain RepRap Festival 2026 - RMRRF

The floor plan, old but basically the same, only one or two confirmed booths so pretty much free choice.

I liked either of our previous locations. I just don’t want to be near the bathrooms.

If there are fewer people this year, then being in the north/left room might be better. If they only half fill the second room, we don’t want to be stuck there.

The best booth is probably the North hall, on the west side (bottom left on the map).

Agreed, I liked the North Hall.

You are wanting to be near the front door?

Just me, or did some attendees appear to be experiencing event overload fatigue by the time they meander to the south hall’s east wall we were located at last year? Seemed less busy/traffic there relative to north hall’s north wall?

Whatever you think. But near the front door is going to be a lot more attention (which is mostly good)

Very much so.

I even had a colleague say they didn’t see me, and then admitted they never even went to the other hall.

Well having had a fair crack at getting there for a few years, this year, I can confirm I will be with you in spirit. I can’t even pretend to try.

Have a great time!!

Okay everyone, we have 3 tables like before, we will be very near the front door, but not against the wall.

So I am extremely open to suggestions for backdrops, banners, flags, booth type things you think will work well with our scrappy style. I have 2 table covers, that I will not forget to bring this time. I suppose I need a third.

Okay, change of plans we are against the wall again.

Next to Prusa. Don’t drool on my INDX.

Hmmm. Maybe I need to bring my Core One L to print some cores.

Maybe they will take pity on me and comp me an INDX. (Yeah, right!)

I will be coming and bringing 2 helpers like last year.

Any of you into RC? A V1E dragster would be cool, but I am not sure how involved of a build it is. Death Racers/Dragsters - RMRRF.COM

More prep work.

I feel so bad about how much I flubbed last year and forgot everything I am going a little bigger this year to make up for it.

Stickers -

I have sort anew design on order now.

Also getting new stickers made, the previous plain logo, with backprinting. So that is a sticker on the front, and anything we want printed on the back. I was thinking a QR for something like v1e.com/event, and then some highlights.

Any suggestions for some good short statements, or what sort of info do we put on the back of stickers we hand out?

Backdrops.

I am getting two backdrops, one is sorta plain matches the table cloths, the other I think I would like to match but also add a few keywords or phrases like above. So you know what we are all about at a glance.

Maker chip

I am test printing some makerchips, Attractions - RMRRF.COM, more info if they work…

This is all stuff that needs to happen first to wait for thing to get made and arrive. What we are bringing besides that will come after all this stuff gets sorted.

I like this because then we can update where the QR code goes after.

I felt like I told a lot of people to start with the forums or the LR documentation. So we can use the /events as a collection of links or resources we refer to.

We should raffle off a Jackpot.

Have you considered offering a coupon or sale for the 2 days that RMRRF is? I noticed a lot of others were doing that last year.

The QR code and website address. Then I would have a description or whatever your tag line is for LR4. People are leaving with 100 stickers. They won’t know what this red triangle means.

I seriously just looked at flights and have enough points to pay for it. Have some extra cash too. The Craft Brewers Conference starts that Monday in Philadelphia. Not this year darn it!

I’d really like to go as well. Didn’t make it last year, but this year is not good for me. I’m intrigued by the dragster and/or the other RC thingy. I have a 6 and 9 channel radio just sitting around that could be donated and some beefy 3 phase motors from my kid’s flite test days. Maybe I’ll look into making one this year and bring it for next. Black and Red right? no promises… yet. I don’t even have the plans yet.
