This will be in my car. Itā€™s going to a friend whoā€™s going to be at the show. I havenā€™t built though table for it yet as thatā€™s going to be up to my friend who will be using it.

I almost forgot. I am looking to get a nice smooth surface to draw on 38" wide or so, table length 24"-30" long. For the Lowrider. If any of you locals have something I can use some tape on that would be awesome. Otherwise I will just grab something at the hardware store when I get there, no worries.

38"x24-30"?

Did we use a piece of melamine from my garage last time? I remember thinking of bringing it, but I donā€™t remember what size it is.

Yeah, I donā€™t remember what we did with it though. If you still have it, that would be awesome. If not I can get one. I am coming in a bit early.

Tempted to come last minute. 1 hour drive from the DEN airport. That is like half the length of the flight from Southern CA

Iā€™ll give you some stickers, a poster, something printed, I bet I can even get a beverage of your choosing.

Rubber Duckies, what about the Rubber Duckies? Iā€™ve run out, my kid distributed them to friends and school, including the bewildered teachers

EDIT: Found 5, am having to hide them from the kid. Will use to accessorize my next build.

Sorry. Just saw this. Iā€™ll check on a few minutes. I can probably handle this.

Stay tuned.

A couple details that Iā€™ve been slow to ask about.

  1. I assume I should bring the Primo again?

Of so then
2. What is the schedule/ plan for setup?

I can be there pretty much any time, but would like to have some idea when.

We are SO looking forward to this.

Yes please!!

Friday any time between noon and 7, same table, or you can get in anytime after 8am Saturday. Whatever day you prefer.

Ok. There are a number of options, but, the simplest would be one of these two.

A. 30" x 60" baltic birch plywood (3/4") with a formica surface on one side

B. 27" x 60" workbench top, 1.5".thick. Butcher block construction.

If absolutely needed, I could cut A to be about 40" long.

You can use as much tape as you want on either.

I have a selection of other sheet goods, including some MDF, which could also work, but it doesnā€™t have any melamine. I could probably cut it to 40" x 30" if size is critical.

Transport of 1 or more is trivial, of course.
