I have two in use for various things. They are in Argon NEO BRED cases- metal case, thermal pads, and fan. I recommend these- my temps stay good and I never throttle.
Howās the progress on the V5?
I donāt know if Iām too late for this, but as part of the troubleshooting process for my printer, I went back to make sure that I had the top and bottoms plates aligned correctly as the CAD wanted.
I drew up a quick alignment block to keep the holes aligned, as well as the spacing from the rails exact as the CAD was drawn.
@Jonathjon and @vicious1 did not do this for their printers and did not have any problems, but it might be some cheap insurance for you if you arenāt already past that step
Iām ready to start assembly, except I need to finish my LR3 to cut the panels for the frame.
Thatās awesome, I was about to do the same thing, thinking also that it might be helpful.
When you started troubleshooting your machineās potential alignment/pulley/belt issue causing some kind of artifacting- I started thinking even more about assembly/alignment jigs for mine.
So this is potentially very timely and interesting to me.
Thank you, this is great input.
