I am trying to find options for laser engraving using Linux and I just discovered this. I am going to run a few tests over the next few weeks.
I see it can connect directly to the machine on top of creating gcode.
Has anyone experience with it?

First impressions are quite good. I can connect over wifi to the LR4, jog, and do my engraving job. I already found a bug related to SVG import that I reported on github and are already investigating.
I will aslo test for cutting and will probably replace my workflow with the inkscape plugin.
