RAMBo stops responding to knob

Starting a few months ago, my RAMBo stops responding to the knob inputs randomly. Works for a few weeks, then will suddenly just not answer to knob input. Even after reset/power cycle. It doesn’t seem frozen, as it will change screens with an Init failure if I remove the SD card, and it will continue with a running job (if the knob fails after starting), but if I have a tool change I’m stuck because I can’t input to let the machine continue, etc.

Ideas?

It sounds like a hardware issue. The wires connect everything independently. So one loose wire could cause it. Or the encoder dial could have died. I would check the cables. If it isn’t something obvious, I would get a new screen.
