Hello peeps,
yesterday i tried updating my Rambo controller i have a LCD display installed after the update the Screen was self selecting menues over and over again. I dont know if this is my fault or the Firmware or maby eben the turn nob on the display.
Can someone maby diagnose or give some tipps i did the Update via xLoader
What do you mean by update, what were you trying to change? If you are using a newer firmware than our last release it is probably just a misconfiguration, I would suggest going back to our last release.
What LCD are you using?
Unfortunately I have not kept up on any marlin firmware updates in a couple years.
My old Firmware worked yesterday but i missclicke in Estlcam and it played a new Firmware onto the Rambo i dont know why. After i uploaded the Marlin 2.1.1 V1MPCNC version it boots up normal but keeps switching from the main dashboard to the sub menu and i cant stop it from doing that. I cant even use the dial. But if i insert or remove the SD card the menu switching stopf for a brief second.
My LCD is the old version from Bigtree-tech worked perfectly before
Where can i find the old releases i could just find the new ones?
Try clearing the eeprom. In moving from Marlin 1.x to 2.x there are settings saved in the eeprom that got moved to different locations, so you may have an old setting that’s doing something unintended.
How can i change ist and is there a way to just get an older version i cant find anything about that
I tried but still same result i have the first version of the LCD that was sold with the Rambo from V1
The Error is fixed with the Marlin 513 found the archive was just to dumb for Github. But i cant find the part where i have to change the 515 so it works
Nice!!! If 513 works stick with it, no need to update.
