I believe i have already undertaken the obvious steps but I’m not getting anywhere so far.
New build LR4 with Jackpot 3 CNC Controller, I’m using the pre-loaded Yaml file from Ryan. Bed is 1220 x 2440 on 30mm tube. Initially I was setup with a the same controller I flashed myself from Elecrow.
Yet to make a cut! When trying to get set-up the Y travel on x min is travelling the correct distance, consistantly. Y travel on X max side is gaining with each travel, ie. if I request g0 y500 travel is going 525. follow this with G0 Y10 and the machine hits the belt mount for the Y axis on the X max side. So looks to be gaining in both directions of travel. If it was steps per mm travelling to Y10 should return the gantry to Y10.
I’ve checked grub screws on the motor pulley. Any other suggestions please? This is my first machine on a Fluid NC controller, although not my first cnc.
