Prusa Core One

What is this?

Rewinder. Since you are in Australia, the M and W were the other way round for you.

Who needs a reminder? err winder:rofl: $799 for eight tool heads…

Oh it would suck if you’d just announced a 6+1 tool changer

Sorry I meant $699! :open_mouth: keep your eye out for big discounts from China! :winking_face_with_tongue:

Probably won’t hear from @Tokoloshe for a while, he’ll be in the queue on Bondtech’s website!

Where can I buy it? Wheeeere?

Found it:
https://www.bondtech.se/indx-by-bondtech/

Do we know whether it’s for the L as well?

It only starts in Q1 2026… But that’s definitely something I am going to buy. The teased printer has 4 spools on each side as well, I guess those boxes work better than my kraken… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Core One L with the INDX would be awesome.

It’s coming, and Prusa say they will start packaging it in the next phase ( read the blog update). The version you see is not the final version! The final one will be slightly smaller again, and note between the last iteration and this one, the CPAP has gone and now the standard Prusa fan is used.

I’ve seen a few interviews this evening (today for you) - Bondtech say that they will concentrate on this version - the price may or may not go up after the release (I’ll take that risk!).

There are enough people who know stuff seriously dribbling over this to make me think it’s a genuine step in tech. However, I have only one printer, in my ideal world, the L will be released with an INDX kit and I “might” be very tempted to run twelve nozzles because I can!

I did, the only mention is here:

That doesn’t mention the L. Can I assume it is also meant? I’d rather not, to be honest.

Okay, through the comments on the Prusa Page I stumbled upon the preorder, there were only 46 of 1200 slots left, deposit was cheaper in dollars (which is really unfair! :sad_but_relieved_face:):

This time I didn’t miss the hype train!

Prusa isn’t super great about providing build/shipping status, are they? Still waiting impatiently for a shipping notice for my Core One L.

I’ve always found it takes about a week to update the shipping guide - at the moment the Core One L isn’t even on it! :open_mouth:

At least it seems that the wait is short, not 15 weeks like it was for my Mk3!

Bondtech said the plan is to offer Core One and Core One L optioned with INDX, BUT there’s a lot of production to happen before that. PrusaSlicer V3 which is due for release early next year has INDX included.

@Tokoloshe - Bondtech make nozzles as their core business - do you really think they’d go into partnership with Prusa and not allow for all their products to be supported? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

More toolheads on the Core One L… :scream: Up to 10 toolheads. So, definitely L. I need money.

A LOT of money - and the L is not going to be released as a kit - the thought of 220v heater wiring being installed by the general public make Jo P very nervous!

That being said, I am hoping that in my October cycle next year, that very thing will turn up in my mail box! Note also that the INDX will reduce the build volume by a smidge. (I think the Y axis is 195mm)

Haha, I didn’t even consider that.

That’s why one needs the L.

Have you received your shipping notice yet? Looks as though there was a reasonable excuse for the delay (not my notice)

Not yet. Would be delightful if they upgrade the One L to a one L+.

I’m also pretty excited about a 10 tool INDEX option for the One L +.
