I believe (If I read the wiring diagrams for the Fluid Dial correctly) that the M5 dial is only getting 5V
Although there is Vmot present in the wiring diagram.
But I used the Ground and 5V connections on the FluidDial RJ12 Adapter to connect to the M5 so that is why I’m certain that it’s only using the 5V
