Possible improvement to LR4 re. homing issue of switch blades keep getting popped off?

The place where the switch has numbers etched on it is the sensitive part. You ought to move this discussion over to Tom’s all about Hall switch endstops. There I posted the datasheet.

Here is the detailed spec sheet from the manufacturer. I would probably use AH3321Q, the least sensitive one, and a 5mm rare earth magnet. Use a compass to figure out where its South pole is (its N points to it), and point that at the markings on the Hall Switch.
