I’ve been lurking on this forum over the last month or so while I built my MPCNC plasma cutter. I was successful right away thanks to this forum, so thank you all in advanced.
I am slowly learning fusion 360 cam and have successfully cut parts with my machine (2x2 MPCNC with Harbor Freight Plasma Cutter). However, I notice that my tool paths don’t have any “dwell” in them for piercing. Depending on the geometry, my parts are not completely cut. I have tried making the lead in’s longer and slower with mixed results. Has anyone figured out a way for Fusion to include a dwell at each new entry point? I have search far and wide and have mostly read that Fusion 2D cutting is still in development and this feature is not yet included. If this is indeed the case then I will continue to play with the lengths and speeds of the lead ins.

Awesome! Congratulations on getting your project up and running! Which plasma torch are you using? It looks like you did a normal build and just built a plasma torch holder, is that right?
EstlCam has a built in section for plasma, waterjet, laser, etc. It lets you add a dwell, pause, or anything really to the start and/or end of your cuts.
You are correct, just a normal MPCNC(2’x2’) with my own torch adapter (needs a revision). I am running the Harbor Freight 40A plasma. I’ve had it for a while and it actually works really well. I will share the file once it fits properly
