Hi doug i was trying to fix the upper cover but
This is on the way
Im working on remix for it
Sorry, I forgot about that little notch being needed. To save from having to reprint the top fender, you could cut out a small notch there for that. I will need to revisit some of my remixes to make sure I account for that!
Humblest apologies. On all the recently posted remixes for the combination of fenders and Hidden Belts Mod, I forgot to put in a notch that is needed on the “Fender - TOP” parts. I am working to fix it. In the meantime, if you have not printed it yet, let me fix it. Or if you already printed, you could manually cut the notch to allow the top fender to not be hindered by the upper standoff of your Y-Extend plates.
I now have the fenders fixed for the
“DougDanTall” plates for Hidden Belts Mod.
“DanTall” plates for Hidden Belts Mod
Working on the others.
OK, I have worked hard to correct and perfect the listing, and have republished it: Printables
I’ve done my best to provide file sets for a variety of stock and tall YZ plates, plus the same in combination with my Hidden Belts Mod, plus the same but for “mirrored” LR3 machines like mine. Here’s a list of the file sets provided:
If you see any mistakes I’ve made, please let me know.
Sorry if I missed this somewhere in the thread, but just wondering what length of linear rail and leadscrew are required for the extended YZ plates? I plan on using Doug’s version specifically.
Pretty sure that Doug’s is based on mine… I use 200mm linear rails. I didn’t measure the leadscrews specifically, but extend the stock by 50mm, and you’ll be fine.
Yes, mine was just a remix of Dan’s, and it adds 50 mm onto both the linear guide rails, and the lead screws.
Awesome, thank you sirs!
