If you are using dual endstops, the wiring is independent, so it’s neither series nor parallel. I couldn’t be sure exactly which sentence you’re referring to, but it does imply that you should use series, or dual.

There are now two wiring choices. I highly recommend you start with the series wiring kit. The dual kit adds complexity with that complexity you gain accuracy and precision. More dual endstop information

Probably didn’t edit that sentence from when we started. We used to run the steppers in parallel, then it was found that series was better.
