That looks sick.
Ayayay!
I have an idea to reduce the part count by one unique part. I am going to give it a shot as soon as I pack some orders.
Silly work getting in the way of work…
Why don’t you have an automated packing setup in your garage yet like Amazon?
Cause they start fires…
Mostly Printed Pack 'n Post?
Anyone else following the development of the Index - open-source pick-and-place machine? I came across the Stephen Hawes YouTube channel and his enthusiasm is infectious.
I had to go and check him out. You’re right, he makes it seem very exciting. The open pnp software he is talking about sounds pretty mature. Of all the pnp machines I have seen, this one seems very usable, the others seem so very complicated.
So If I convert my garage into a giant pnp, I could use that software to pick up the right stuff, and place it in the right place in the box…how freaking cool would that be. If I get to that point we will run a live webcam so you all can watch me grinning and picking my nose why it grabs your orders.
You’d have to mount the camera onto the arm of the PnP so that we can all get vertigo as it Wooshes around the room.
And I’d hope you’d spend your new found free time on finishing the new printer and not picking your nose.
But as XKCD has taught us… automation is not without its downfalls
I’m a simple man that enjoys the finer things in life.
Rube Goldberg anyone!?
Mpnpnp? Mostly printed noise picker ‘n’ placer?
Well, you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your friends nose…or can you?
You can pick your robot, you can pick your nose. But can you pick a robot that can pick your nose?
I’ve seen Simone’s robots. No thanks.
She’s the Queen of Sh**ty Robots. You need the Queen of Snotty Robots.
Not to mention converting her Tesla to a pickup truck because she didn’t want to wait for the official version.
Someone on twitter tweeted at Elon to give her a Cybertruck, she said she’d gladly take one, then immediately convert it into a sedan. That’s some funny shit right there.
So I’m ordering some stuff. @vicious1 Just out of curiosity, what size is that CF square tube? Just looking at costs and sth.
Looks like my MP3DP is going to a new home with my kid. Since it’s the most “plug 'n play” 3D printer that I’ve so far ever owned, it’s the one that I feel the least apprehension about being used by someone else.
