That is opposite of any excuse I’ve ever used…“I’m just in it for the articles…”
There needs to be a TL;DR button that condenses it to all of Ryans posts.
I hope it’s a smash hit for you!
I spy wider belts planned for the Primo

I am very curious to see what the upgrade bag includes. Obviously the new nuts/bolts/screws, since those changed completely; but what else?

I use the full size of my machine all the time. I made mine with a 24" square cut size. When I added the dust shoe, I lost nearly an inch in both directions. Do you know how hard it is to cut a 24" size shape when your cut size is only 23" ?
My MPCNC is in an enclosure. I don’t have room to make it any larger without completely starting over. I’m a little bummed that Primo won’t fit in my current enclosure with a useable size for the types of work I do on my machine.
I have seen dust shoe designs for the MPCNC that don’t add additional size constraints to your work area, you might look into one of them to get that inch back.
I tried a few of them before settling on this one. I even tried to design my own. This one worked the best for my use case.
Care to share which one that is? Us slackers will happily make use of the experience of others. ![]()
But that would require me to login to my thingiverse account… and we know how bad that can be these days…
Many Thanks!

Ive been following MPCNC for a few years now and finally in quarantine decided i had the funds and the time to pull the trigger… Now i have to wait even longer! Seeing the updates I would have settled for Burly but im excited for the new one. Can’t wait for it to be available so i can get it shipped up to Portland!
I wonder how unusual I am? My wife says very…
Curious for once kits come out, what are the advantages to getting the rambo v1.4 vs v1.3? I know there’s more individual connections for steppers, but what does that actual do?
Is there a waiting list I can get on for upgrade kits?
rambo vs mini rambo adds a stepper driver, which means you can drive the motors independently, which means auto squaring.
Rambo 1.3 vs Rambo 1.4 (not the mini), the difference is how the LCD panel connects.
I have 100 of those ready to go, that should last a while.
